Dan and Nyah returned from the NEAA 2013 Conference in Mount Snow, Vermont, this morning and brought with them tall stacks of business cards from their new professional connections. Nyah alone walked away with 42 new contacts. However, the NEAA was not about competing for the most cards. It was about engaging with fantastic folks to work with in the future.
Due to a delay, vendors had to wait until Wednesday to setup their exhibition tables, so many of the attendees decided to hit the slops upon arrival.
There on the snowy mountaintops, Dan and Nyah began making new friends—not only to help our merchants open new merchant accounts, but also to assist other payment service providers in helping their merchants open new accounts through Instabill.
Nyah, our Partner Program manager, enjoyed several speeches on Wednesday. Her favorite was from Garima Shah from eMerchantPay. Mrs. Shah's speech discussed eMerchantPay's international payment solutions, which highlighted the key benefits merchants receive when processing with the company. This presentation reinforced the international credit card processing services Instabill also provides. Mrs. Shah also discussed the differences between international and domestic credit card processing.
There were 400 attendees at the NEAA Conference this year. The seclusion of the resort made it difficult for those attending to leave, which provided a very intimate atmosphere. Among the barn dance, cocktail parties, dinner parties, and conferences, business cards were constantly changing hands—making new friends was inevitable.
All in all, Dan and Nyah had a wonderful time representing Instabill at the NEAA 2013 Conference. Both agree that it was an invaluable experience and even encourage a member of the Instabill team to sign up as a guest speaker in 2014.
